You matter.

This post goes out to every person who is a victim/survivor of sexual assault or rape. Please remember that it was not your fault. You are not alone and there are people in the world that believe you. People heal differently and it is up to you to decide what is best for you - nobody else.

Here are some resources that might be helpful for you:

Not Alone - Not Alone is a website created by the White House Task Force to protect students from sexual assault. The website provides helpful resources for students from what to do if you or someone you know is sexually assaulted, to how to a complaint against your school, to local resources in your community.

OTHER COPING IDEAS:

Coloring, watching cat videos, reading your favorite book again, reading in general, sleeping, cooking, meditating, working out, journaling, taking a walk, taking a moment to focus on deep breaths, cuddling with your pet, calling a friend, watching a movie, playing a video game, blogging.

Through it all, remember that you did not deserve what happened to you.
